Diwali 2024 do not bring these things before diwali

Diwali 2024: The festival of Diwali, which we also call Deepotsav, is considered very auspicious. This year this festival will be celebrated with great pomp all over the world on Thursday, 31st October. This is the most special and important festival of Hindus. This festival removes darkness from a person’s life and brings light and also increases positivity. On this day, people also worship Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and Kuber Maharaj Ji in their homes, which brings happiness, prosperity and financial gain in the house.

Before Diwali, people also buy many new things. According to the scriptures, the things we bring into the house during Diwali affect our lives, hence these things should not be brought into the house at all before Diwali.

Don’t bring these things even by mistake-

  • broken objects – Do not bring home broken items like glass, furniture or any other damaged item. Such stuff is a symbol of bad luck.
  • black things – Some people believe that black things attract negativity, hence do not bring black or any colored Vaastu home at all.
  • Used or second-hand items – Do not bring any previously used Vaastu into the house because it may contain old energy which can be inauspicious for your home.
  • sharp objects – Do not bring sharp objects like knives or scissors into the house, such objects invite conflict and also break relationships and increase negativity.
  • Negative things – Anything associated with sad or bad memories should not be welcomed. Like someone’s old photo or any item that has bad memories associated with it.
